There is a gigantic upside-down pyramid atop a tower of glass on this campus. No joke! Approaching it, under the light of a full moon, whisps of cloud set in relief against it, it is captivating. All other buildings pale in comparison to this architectural triumph. One immediately associates it with the very knowledge it houses. It is the engineering building after all. This giant glass tower contains a stairwell- visible from the outside. One can just imagine hoards of engineers scuttling up and down the stairs all day, tapping clipboards with yellow #2 pencils, gesticulating to one another about structural integrity gradients- all of this on display in a giant glass terrarium- "So this is how they behave!" This sort of thing can you very excited. Soon, you are screaming about engineers and their habitat, rambling on about inane Tower of Babel metaphors.
"Can you guys keep it down?"
We're just walking!
"What are you doing?"
ReplyDeleteha. just figured out who you are.
